Foundations Counseling was established in January, 2017 by Meredith Kriz, LPC-S. Meredith wanted to create a practice that is ideal for clinicians. After a dozen years of working at several group practices, Meredith learned a lot about what it means to be a therapist, work collaboratively with colleagues, and identified what is important to thrive as a clinician. At Foundations, she seeks to accentuate the wonderful things she experienced herself as a clinician in a group practice setting. This includes things like taking care of the “business” side of things, but it’s more than that. Foundations is a place that values collaboration with colleagues, support, self-care, and education.
Over the course of the last several years, Foundations Counseling has grown from a sole provider practice to a team of about 20 amazing clinicians and administrative support professionals. Foundations Counseling seeks fully licensed mental health clinicians who are highly skilled and passionate about helping people reach their potential. Foundations Counseling is an established practice in the McKinney area devoted to high-quality outpatient therapy and care for clients.
These positions are for outpatient therapy services for adults, couples, and adolescents. Hours are somewhat flexible, but evening hours are encouraged. This is the ideal practice for someone who wants to operate as a private practitioner without dealing with the “business” side of the practice. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time positions with flexible hours. Because we are an insurance-based practice, please only apply if you are fully licensed.
