Rachel Hendrix
MA Counseling Student Intern
Supervised by Dr. Samantha Klassen, LPC-S

Rachel Hendrix, BS, MA Counseling Student Intern, Supervised by Samantha Klassen PhD, LPC-S is a counseling student who believes in the power of growth, connection, and encouragement. She approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, and a deep belief that every person is capable of healing and meaningful change. Rachel sees each individual as resilient, valuable, and striving toward purpose—even when the path forward feels unclear.
She enjoys working with teens, young adults, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Rachel is especially passionate about supporting clients through anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and free to be their authentic selves.
Because Rachel is a counseling student intern, she is unable to accept insurance. Sessions will be billed at a significantly discounted self-pay rate of $35/hour. Prospective clients should also be aware that some counseling sessions will be audio/video recorded for review by Rachel’s on-site and university supervisors.
Outside of the therapy room, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, watching documentaries, and staying active—closing her Apple Watch rings and earning badges is a daily win! She has also proudly served as the Practice Manager of Foundations Counseling since 2018.
